Loretta Jacobson, Office Manager
Loretta became a Teamster member when she was hired as clerical/bookkeeper by Local 252 in February 1984. She quickly became Office Manager just three weeks later with the retirement of longtime Office Manager, Irene Viles. Prior to going to work for the local, Loretta had worked as Office Manager for Central Sales & Supply Company in Centralia.
She is a member of the JC#28 Teamsters Women’s Caucus, and was elected as an alternate delegate to the 2006 IBT Convention. Loretta enjoy’s traveling and playing golf (preferably in a warm climate), or going to the beach, and loves visiting and playing with her grandchildren.
Loretta is married to Ed Jacobson, an International Representative with the IBT Building Material & Construction Division. She has been blessed with a daughter & son-in law Erica & David Kelly, son and daughter-in-law, Ryan & Michelle Blair, step-daughters, Kristi, Nicole, & Jodi Jacobson, grandson, T.J. and four granddaughters, Ashley, twins - Kaytlin & Trinity, and the youngest, Emily, born in July 2005.
