When you see a Yellow Freight Lines truck in the Grays Harbor area you can be reasonably sure it is Roy out making his daily deliveries.

Roy started driving delivery freight truck for Garrett Freight Lines (The Old Circle G) back in the mid seventies (As he says that’s back when men were steel and ships were wooden).

Looking in the rear view mirror things sure have changed since then says Roy , there was a different freight truck on every corner.

The big box store did not exist and freight on a pallet was rare.

Today there are only a few LTL carriers left and we have the ability to move twice the goods in half the time.

The one thing that hasn’t changed are the customers, you get to talk to somebody different every day.

 As Roy says “after all moving freight is only part of this job , this is truly a people business and I am not quite ready to quit yet”
