Darren O'Neil, Secretary-Treasurer
Darren joined Teamster's Local #252 in 1978 as a Truck Driver for Lakeside Industries working summers while attending Central Washington University where he graduated in 1983 with a degree in Law and Justice. He also worked in driver sales and in law enforcement for Lewis County prior to becoming a Business Agent in April of 1994. Darren has served the Local as a delegate to the Olympia and Vicinity Building Trades, alternate delegate to the 2001 IBT Convention, delegate to the 2006 IBT Convention, Labor Representative to the WISHA WRA Law Enforcement Committee, committee member to the Washington Dept. of Licensing CDL Steering Committee and the Joint Transportation Committee Shareholders Group, Board Member to the Governor's Industrial Safety and Health Advisory Board and political action committee representative for Local 252. He became Secretary-Treasurer in April, 2008.
